How conversations are processed

We do not save voice recordings or transcripts from /talk in our own database. During a conversation, your audio and words are sent to ElevenLabs Agents and its model service providers so the AI can understand and answer you. Live captions remain only on your device and disappear when the session ends.

The ElevenLabs agent is configured not to save call audio and to delete conversation data, transcripts, and detected personal information on a zero-day schedule. This is provider-side deletion, not a promise that your data is never temporarily processed or present in provider systems and backups. Please do not share information you do not want those providers to process.

What we do keep

Running a metered service requires some records. We keep: your account identity (managed by Clerk — name, email, sign-in method); session accounting (when a voice session started and ended, its duration, plan, and technical usage counters used for cost accounting — never the content); subscription and payment status (managed by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers); and standard operational logs from our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and debugging.

Services we rely on

Clerk provides sign-in; Convex stores account and usage records; Stripe processes web payments; Apple processes in-app purchases; ElevenLabs Agents handles live speech, transcription, response generation through its hosted model providers, and synthetic speech; Vercel hosts the site. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information or share conversation content for advertising.

Cookies and advertising

Sign-in requires strictly necessary cookies from Clerk. The free tier is supported by Google AdSense: visitors without a paid plan may see clearly marked display ads on free pages and a short sponsored message before a free session begins, and Google may set ad cookies for those visitors behind regional consent controls. Advertising never interrupts a conversation in progress. The advertising library loads only after access resolves as anonymous or free; Trial, Premium, and admin access is excluded from ad placements and Offerwall eligibility. If you upgrade after advertising code already loaded during a free visit, refresh the page to start a clean ad-free tab.

Your choices and rights

You can cancel your subscription any time from the billing portal. You can delete your account by contacting us via the contact page; deletion removes your account record and usage history from our systems within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention law. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data — write to us and we will honor them.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and note the change on the public site before it takes effect.
