Safety
This service is a place for reflection — it is not equipped to handle an emergency. Real help, from real people, is below.
If you are in crisis right now
If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, stop here and reach a human being now.
- United States: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 for emergencies.
- United Kingdom & Ireland: Samaritans, 116 123 (free, 24/7).
- Canada: call or text 988.
- Australia: Lifeline, 13 11 14.
- Elsewhere: your local emergency number, or the directory of international helplines at findahelpline.com.
An AI cannot call for help, cannot check on you, and cannot sit beside you. One phone call to any line above puts a trained person on the other end who can.
What the companion is instructed to do
The AI companion is standing-instructed to respond to any mention of self-harm, abuse, or danger by gently and immediately pointing you to the resources above — not by attempting counsel it is not qualified to give. It will not role-play crisis intervention.
Abuse, minors, and reporting
The service must not be used to generate abusive content or to harm others, and it is not directed to children under 13. If you encounter a response that seems unsafe, wrong, or harmful, please report it via the contact pagewith the approximate time it happened — we review every report. Because we do not store transcripts, sending us your description of what was said helps us investigate the model’s behavior.
Spiritual care still needs people
Whatever this tool offers you, it is not a substitute for a congregation, a pastor or priest, a counselor, or a friend across a kitchen table. If a conversation here stirs something that needs real care, treat that as the conversation succeeding — and take it to a person.
